This is not a puzzle.

Hi! My name is Justin Hudis and I love puzzles. I am certain that millions of people out there would love puzzles too if they knew what they were, but the barrier to entry is too high for many; showing up to Puzzled Pint or trying an old MIT Mystery Hunt can be a big ask. That's why I built this site!

The puzzles we're talking about here are the type found in puzzle hunts: events where teams race to solve puzzles the fastest. A puzzle is an open-ended challenge which solves to a word or phrase. I like to say it's halfway between and escape room challenge and a New York Times game.

If you're new to puzzles, I recommend doing the tutorial and then trying the latest puzzle! You may need to use a lot of hints when you're starting out and I highly recommend watching the solution guide that's revealed at the end of each puzzle. I guarantee you'll become an expert in no time!

To learn more about how to solve puzzles, check out the resources provided by the lovely folks at Puzzled Pint. Once you get addicted to solving puzzles (which won't take long), you should grab some friends and attend their next hunt!
